In the opening round of the Thai Premier League, Muangthong United collected a come from behind victory thanks to Mario Gjurovski’s contributions.

Mario Gjurovski played the entire game for Muangthong United who needed two goals after the 75th minute to defeat Chainat in the opening round of the 2014 Thai season.  After Chainat took the initial lead in the 21st minute, Muangthong United equalized in the 76th minute before scoring the game winner in stoppage time of the 90th minute.

Gjurovski played a part in both goals for the winning team.  First, he took a long free kick in the 76th minute that was headed home by his teammate Wuttichai Tathong, while Mario’s game winner in the 90th minute came on a converted penalty kick.
