Veteran defender Goran Ganchev will continue his career in Bahrain with top division side Busaiteen.
The 30-year old central defender signed a contract with Busaiteen FC, a club that is currently in 6th place of the 10 clubs that comprise Bahrain’s top division. The Negotino born player decided to move across the Asian continent as he last played for Indonesian side Persebaya.
Since the summer of 2010, Ganchev has been playing abroad. He first moved to Bosnia-Herzegovina where he played for Željezničar and Velež, then ended up in neighboring Croatia to play for Inter Zaprešić, before going to the other side of the planet. In Indonesia, before suiting up for Persebaya, he also played for PSMS Medan.
Ganchev has never been capped for the senior national team of Macedonia, but has made two appearance for the U21 team.
