Macedonia’s futsal team advanced to Qualification Round for EURO 2012.
Macedonian national futsal team used the home advantage and managed to advance from preliminary round to qualifying round.
With 3 wins (against England 3:1, Estonia 6:2 and Georgia 2:1) and 9 points Macedonia will be looking to compete for one of the 11 available places for EURO 2012 in Croatia. In the mini-tournament played in Skopje, Georgia ended second with 6 points, England was third with 3 and Estonia failed to win points ending on the last place.
Qualifying round will be played from 24th to 27th February 2011 and Macedonia will play against Poland, Belarus and Portugal in Poland. Qualifying round will be consisted of 6 groups of which the group winners and five best runners-up will join Croatia for EURO 2012.
