Fri/Sat internationals performances

With his goal, Vlatko Grozdanoski brought Vojvodina valuable three points in the Serbian First League. Igor Mitreski suffered the first defeat after he joined Germinal Beerschot, Aco Stojkov assisted, Ostoja Stjepanovikj made a penalty, while Robert Popov played his first game after the long absence due to injury.

These are the performances of the Macedonian internationals that played on Friday and Saturday. Those that played on Sunday and Monday will appear tomorrow.

Italy, Serie A, Catania – Lazio 1:0
Goran Pandev could have saved Lazio but missed a penalty. In the 50th minute Pandev was in front of Catania’s goal when Argentine international Matías Silvestre fouled him for a penalty kick. One minute later Pandev took the penalty, but goalkeeper Albano Bizzarri saved. Latter in the 69th minute he went out for Mauro Zárate.

Holland, Eredivisie, De Graafschap – Heerenveen 2:0
Goran Popov played the whole game for Heerenveen as his team lost after six games without a defeat. It is strange that Popov’s team managed to beat the giants like Ajax, PSV and Feyenoord, but lost against relegation candidates De Graafschap.

Belgium, Jupiler League, Anderlecht – Germinal Beerschot 2:0
Igor Mitreski played the full 90 minute for Germinal as his team suffered the first defeat after ten games. From those, Mitreski has been part of the Germinal’s team in the last nine games.

Austria, T-Mobile Bundesliga, Sturm Graz – Mattersburg 1:0
Ostoja Stjepanovikj played the whole game for Mattersburg and was the one who helped Sturm to win as he fouled Jakob Jantscher in the box for a penalty that was taken by Bosnian international Samir Muratović. Goce Sedloski also played the whole game and got a yellow card in the 9th minute, while Ilco Naumoski was taken off in the 76th minute for Thomas Wagner but six minute aerlier he was shown the yellow card as well.

Czech, 2. Liga, Fulnek – Baník Most 0:3
Nikola Tonev played the full 90 minutes for Most. This was his first game in 2009.

Hungary, Soproni Liga, Újpest – Debreceni 2:0
Mirsad Mijadinoski played the whole game for Újpest.

Hungary, Soproni Liga, Nyíregyháza Spartacus – Kecskeméti 3:3
Aco Stojkov assisted to Romanian international Bogdan Apostu when he took the Szpari in a 2:0 lead in the 11th minute. Stojkov played the full game.

Kemal Alomerovik had to leave the field early in the 15th minute because of an injury. Slovenian international Marian Sluka took his place.

Poland, Orange Ekstraklasa, Śląsk Wrocław – Polonia Warszawa 0:1
Vlade Lazarevski got in instead Daniel Gołębiewski in the 61st minute when Polonia decided to defend the lead. Filip Ivanovski was not even on the bench.

Scotland, SFL Second Division, East Fife – Stranraer 4:0
Goran Stanik played the whole game for the Fifes.

France, CFA 1, Dunkerque – Auxerre B 1:0
Robert Popov played his first game after the heavy injury.

Israel, Ligat ha’Al, Maccabi Haifa – Maccabi Petah Tikva 0:0
Boban Grncarov played the full 90 minutes for Petah Tikva.

Jane Nikoloski played the whole game for AEP.

Stojance Ignjatov got in instead Argentine international Alejandro Roberto Gavatorta in the 77th minute for Poli.

Hristijan Kirovski played the whole game for Vaslui.

Robert Petrov played the full 90 minutes for Slavia.

Vanco Trajanov played the whole game for the home team.

Serbia, Superliga, Banat – Vojvodina 0:1
Vlatko Grozdanoski was the hero of Vojvodina this round. He substituted Janko Tumbasević on half time and later in the 72nd minute he scored the winner. After the celebration he got a yellow card. Mario Gjurovski played nearly the whole game as he was taken off in the injury time for Georgian international Mikheil Khotsishvili. In the home team, Milan Stojanoski played the whole game and got a yellow card in the 83rd minute, while Borce Manevski didn’t play.

Perica Stanceski got in instead Goran Marković on half time but yet his team lost.

Azerbaijan, Premier League, FK Baku – Bakılı 3:1
Dragan Nacevski got in instead the hat-trick hero Bəxtiyar Soltanov in the 76th minute for Gjoko Hadzievski’s team.
