In their second friendly of the winter preparations in Turkey, Vardar collected a 3:0 victory over Polish club Ruch Chorzów.
Vardar opened the scoring in the 20th minute through Filip Ivanovski while the other two goals were scored by defenders Zlatko Tanevski and Miroslav Vajs in the 52nd and 70th minute, respectively. Both Ivanovski and Tanevski have played club football in Poland earlier in their career and scored goals to defeat Ruch Chorzów, currently the 4th placed team in the Poland top division after the conclusion of the first half of the season. Tanevski recently arrived at Vardar from GKS Bełchatów.

In the first friendly played several days ago, Vardar defeated Rostov 1:0 but the Russian side played its younger players in that game. Vardar’s next friendly is on 12 February when they face Slavia Sofia.
