Two draws in the opening two matches of the third round of the First League, both played in the capital city of Skopje.
Sileks and Metalurg continue their campaign without a defeat. Sileks managed to hold for a draw against reigning champions Rabotnichki. Rabotnichki were perhaps the better team during the match but Sileks’ defense did their job well and the Kratovo team returns home with a valuable point from this difficult away match. They finished the match with 10 men after Djonov was sent off in the final minutes of the match, but the hosts did not manage to capitalize on the situation.
Metalurg and Shkendija also shared the spoils in the other game played today in Skopje. Both goals were scored in the first half with Efremov opening the scoreline in the 16th minute. 10 minutes later Vručina was fouled in the box and the referee Marjan Eckoski awarded a penalty to the away team. Vručina converted the penalty into a goal and actually set the final score. Both teams had chances to take the win but at the end they will have to be satisfied with one point.
