Vardar got their third consecutive win with a goal in the dying minutes, Shkendija recorded a win from behind against Horizont Turnovo.
The derby of the round was definitely the match played in Shtip between Bregalnica and Vardar. Their clash in the last round of last season decided the faith of Vardar, with a draw they lost the spot that lead in the Europa League qualifications and today they came to seek for a revenge. The visitors dominated, but it was the host team that took the lead. Keeper Filip Gachevski sent a long ball in the 15th minute, both Vardar CBs got confused as they thought that the other would clear the ball so Velkovski used the confusion and scored. It was the first goal against Vardar this season. But their joy lasted only four minutes as Hambardzumyan scored on a header after a free kick. It was first goal in the red and black uniform for the Armenian international. Three minutes before the break Vardar’s defense made another similar disastrous mistake, but luckily keeper Igor Pavlović saved Milan Jovanović’s shot preventing a new home lead. Just three minutes intro the second half, Vardar was left with 10 men after captain Zlatko Tanevski got a second yellow card. Jovanović initiated a counter attack on the left side when Tanevski pulled his shirt in order to stop him and got a second yellow (he already had one from the first half). In the 76th minute the match saw another red card, this time direct and for Bregalnica. Filip Ivanovski accepted a long ball and was heading alone towards the goal when captain Darko Stojanov stopped him irregularly and was sent off. In the dying minutes of the match, the scorer of the first goal was in the role of an assistant for the decisive goal. He sent a ball from the right side for Petkovski who managed to put it behind Gachevski’s net and bring his team new three points.
