Filip Timov with two goals for Impuls

Midfielder Filip Timov scored his first two league goals for Impuls during today’s 1:3 road victory over Pyunik.

The 19-year-old Filip Timov joined Armenian club Impuls as a free agent in the winter transfer window after Koper, from Slovenia, decided to terminate his contract.  Timov has become a starter for Impuls and scored a brace during the second round of the Armenian season today.  Filip scored his two goals in the 34th and 42nd minute, with the first strike coming from a converted penalty, to lead Impuls to the road victory over Pyunik, the most successful club in Armenia.

Timov also scored another goal on 17 March in a domestic cup game when Impuls celebrated a 2:1 win over Ulisses, the defending champions from last year.  Filip, who will turn 20 in May, formerly played for the Macedonian U19 national team, and is now a candidate for the U21 squad.
