Goalkeeper Filip Gachevski will go on trial to Dutch top division side Zwolle next week as the club is looking for added depth at the position due to an injury.
The reason Gachevski will go on trial at Zwolle is that starting keeper Diederik Boer is out with an injury. That only leaves Leon ter Wielen as the lone keeper on the squad, so Zwolle is looking for added depth and has invited Filip to come on trial. Gachevski, who turns 22 years old in a couple of days, is still under contract with Kapfenberg but the Austrian club has given him permission to seek a new club.
Zwolle is a newly promoted club to the Dutch top division. Another goalkeeper in Mario Kirev from Bulgaria was on trial at Zwolle last week but he failed to convince the coaches. Thus, the search continues for a keeper and now Gachevski will have a chance to go on trial next week and attempt to win a contract. Filip is currently the #1 keeper for the Macedonian U21 national team and has started all six games in the 2013 U21 qualifications. Gachevski was actually born in Slovenia but decided to represent Macedonia internationally.
