Macedonia is ranked 93rd in the world for October according to the latest FIFA World Rankings which were released today. With the defeat in Armenia and the home draw against Slovakia, Macedonia gained one point and moved up one place to #93.
Not much of a change for Macedonia in the latest FIFA World Rankings for October. The two games earlier this month against Armenia and Slovakia brought only one point (from 360 to 361) and Macedonia was able to move up one place on the rankings. Macedonia remains as the worst national team in the Balkan region along with also becoming the worst ranked national team in Group A of the qualifications for the 2014 World Cup in Brazil. During the draw, Wales was in pot six and the lowest ranked team in the group but they have now overtaken both Macedonia and Scotland after a string of good results over the past month.
