Macedonia went backwards to the 103rd place on the newest FIFA World Ranking list.
The 2:0 home defeat by Slovakia in the EURO 2016 qualifications cost Macedonia 16 points and brought them down to 103rd place. The Red Lynx did not play any friendly in the second available FIFA date, so they will probably end this year bellow the 100th position as December brings no games.
The biggest climbers are the Faroe Islands who moved up 82 places thanks to the qualification road win over Greece. They are now only two places bellow Macedonia. Worst mover is another closely-ranked nation in Iraq who dropped 23 placed and is now just behind Macedonia. On the other hand, the goalless draw at home against Estonia gave San Marino their best ranking place in years as they are no 180th with 55 points (their best place ever is 118th in September 1993, but at that time FIFA had lower number of members).
