FFM extends Milevski’s contract

The Football Federation of Macedonia, by decision of its Board of Directors, extended the contract of Blagoja Milevski, the head coach of the Macedonian national team.

The leader of our senior national team remains in the position of head coach until the end of the qualifiers for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, under the same conditions as before.

“The Football Federation of Macedonia, as till now, will be full of support for coach Blagoja Milevski and the national team. We look forward to new challenges and successes. We are deeply convinced that with great passion and ambition, the coach and his team will continue to work for the progress of Macedonian national football. The past few months and the matches played by the Macedonian national team have confirmed that we are on the right path, together. The team bursts of energy and ambition for new great results, and we are confident that this is an incredible motive for the work in the future”, is the opinion of the FFM Board of Directors.

The national team now first has to arrange friendly matches in the Match and June 2024 FIFA windows. Then will follow the Nations League new season with matches in September, October and November of 2024, with the draw being held on 8 February 2024 in Paris. The 2026 WC qualifiers will begin in March 2025 and will end in November 2025 with the play-offs taking place in March 2026.
