The Slovak Football Federation decided their openning game against Macedonia to be played in Bratislava at 20.30 CET.
For the round 1 of the EURO 2012 qualification Group B, SVZ decided to welcome Macedonia at the Pasienky stadium in Bratislava, the home of the football clubs Slovan and MFK Petržalka. The stadium capacity is 13.295, which shows that SVZ doesn’t expect a big interest for the game.The match will be played on 3 September this year at 20.30 CET.
Macedonia have played Slovakia away twice. The first game was played on the very same date but in the year 2000 and at Tehelné Pole stadium in Bratislava where Macedonia lost 2:0. The second and last away game was at Pod Dubňom stadium in the city of Žilina when the teams were tied with a score of 1:1.
