Youth national team member Emil Abaz will get a great opportunity to showcase his talents in a strong youth tournament.
The 2015 “Future Cup” tournament will feature the U17 sides of some prominent European teams. One of them will be Belgian giant Anderlecht, a club that features Macedonian youth national team player Emil Abaz.
This youth tournament is hosted annually by Dutch side Ajax, known for having one of the best youth systems. Besides Ajax and Anderlecht, the tounament will also showcase the U17 sides of Juventus, Liverpool, Schalke 04, Porto, Galatasaray and Celtic.
The eight teams were divided into two groups. Anderlecht was grouped with Juventus, Schalke 04 and Galatasaray.
The tournament will last from April 4 to April 6, the final being played at 15:00 CET local time this upcoming Monday.
Abaz was born in Skopje in 1998 before his family moved to Belgium at a young age. He has been capped by both the U17 and U19 national teams of Macedonia. Emil is considered one of the top talents on those respective squads.
