Rabotnicki won the battle for Dusan Savić over their city rivals Vardar due to their flexible offer.  Savić wanted to play abroad but could not find a team so he decided to return to Macedonia.  However, his goal remains to play abroad so he only wanted a contract until the January transfer window.  Rabotnicki agreed to that arrangement while Vardar offered him a deal until the end of the season.  Savić obviously chose Rabotnicki’s offer and will hope to score some goals over the next couple of months so he is able to find a club from abroad in the winter transfer window.

Dusan Savić has played for Rabotnicki in the past from 2008 to 2010 so he should quickly adjust to his new surroundings.  Rabotnicki was looking for added depth and experience in attack and Savić provides that.  He is a proven player in the Macedonian top division and will provide some much needed leadership to a very young Rabotnicki squad.

Savić, who will turn 26 in early October, was originally born in Serbia but spent much of his early career in Macedonia so he decided to represent Macedonia internationally.  To date, he has made 8 appearances but is still looking for his first goal.  Savić has played abroad with Romanian club Braşov, Incheon United from South Korea, and most recently Pakhtakor from Uzbekistan.
