U16 and U17 NTs have noted a defeat and a draw respectively in the friendly matches against Bosnia-Herzegovina.
U16 and U17 national teams have noted a defeat and a draw in the first friendly matches played against the national teams of Bosnia-Herzegovina in Skopje.
U16s, led by Vujadin Stanojkovikj have suffered a minimal 0:1 loss. The lone goal of the match was scored in the final moments by Adis Smaić.
Macedonia started the match with the following line-up: Stevkovski Hristijan; Todorovski Todor, Tasev Dimitar, Kurti Burim, Kirovski Andrej, Stojmenovski Oliver, Mena Asdren, Delevski Hristijan, Jovanovski Filip, Markovski Dejan, Trapanovski Kristijan.
“The match has filled my expectations. We have played a disciplined match and I am satisfied with my players. They have fulfilled their tasks and deserve praises for their job. They have potential and it is up to us to guide them correctly” said Stanojkovikj after the match.
Two hours later, U17s led by Bobi Stojkoski had their match. This game ended in a 1:1 draw with both goals being scored in the first half. Macedonia opened the scoreline through Milan Ristovski, while the visitors equalized through Zinedin Mustedanagić.
Macedonia played the match with the following line-up: Jankov Riste; Stojkovski Viktor, Semafat Sefet, Sadiki Nehar (Petkov Igor), Mitrev Antonio, Karabakov Aleksandar, Dodev Darko, Toshevski Milosh, Ristovski Milan, Zdravkovski David (Agushi Riad), Manevski Mihail (Bonevski Daniel).
“We have played a great match against a top opponent. This is a good result achieved by these young players. They have really played a good match, with big fighting spirit and they gave their maximum” said Stojkoski after the match.
