The Shtip based club this winter signed 7 new players so far, while 6 have left the team with three of them to the biggest rival Belasica.
Bregalnica is having a very active winter transfer window. Six departures have been replaced by seven arrivals meaning that the squad has been drastically changed. Definitely the Blues will have a new look in the second half-season.
Veteran captain Goran Zdravkov plus defenders Aleksandar Vasilev and Tome Janev have joined Belasica who is topping the table with 5 points more than third-placed Bregalnica. Petar Janevski joined Osogovo, Jane Stojanov went to Tikvesh, while Bojan Ivanov is still looking for his new club.
If the club lost on quality with the departures of Zdravkov, Vasilev and Janev, they gained by signing their former star players Ivan Mitrov from Sasa, Slavcho Velkovski from Gostivar and Lazar Ilijev from the Italian lower league side of Merano. They have also added Daniel Bonevski, Ivan Varadinovski (both from Plachkovica) and Vane Jovanov (loaned from Akademija Pandev), while Darko Digalovski of Gorno Lisiche is about to become their last signing.
Today the team played the first friendly game with the opponent being third league East leaders Kit-Go from Pehchevo. It ended 1:1.
On 4 February the team will move to the town of Sandanski in neighboring Bulgaria where will have the main winter preparations and will also play more friendlies.
