Dragon won every single game this season, outscoring their opponents by 127 goals, to win the women’s league.
The newly formed club (last summer actually) had no troubles clinching the league title, winning every single game in the ten team league. After 18 rounds, two games apiece versus every other team, Dragon put up video game numbers. They scored 137 goals, while only conceding 10 goals for an unbelievable goal difference of +127.
Their lone contender this season was the defending champion Kochani. Just like Dragon, Kochani also had no problems with the other teams in the league, winning the 16 games. However, Kochani lost both of their head-to-head meetings with Dragon in league play. Dragon won 4:2 on the road and 2:0 at home.
These two teams also met in the women’s cup final last month, but this time Kochani won that game. So, they prevented Dragon from winning the double crown. In the end, each club was able co collect a trophy this season.
By winning the league, Dragon will participate in the qualifications for the UEFA Women’s Champions League this summer.
