Stole Dimitrievski did not catch his flight yesterday evening as he received positive result from the COVID-19 testing. Today FFM announced that he won’t be available for the upcoming Nations League matches against Armenia and Georgia.
Coach Igor Angelovski decided to call up Martin Bogatinov, keeper of Cypriot side Ethnicos, who has 18 appearances for the national team, but his last was back in 2016 in the 2:3 defeat in Skopje by Italy on October 9th.
Angelovski now faces a real problem as he is left with two inexperienced keepers in Dejan Iliev and Damjan Shishkovski, both without any national team matches plus 34-year-old Bogatinov who 4 years was retired of the national team.
It is strange that David Mitov Nilsson was once again left out despite being in great form in the Norwegian top flight.
Daniel Avramovski also is forced to withdraw, but because of injury. No replacement will be called up instead.
