Diaspora players performances (22-25.01.2021)

Early in the year still not a lot of players from the Diaspora are active, nevertheless it was interesting as in Australia Dylan Pierias had a brace and James Delianov kept a clean sheet, while Nedim Bajrami provided an assist in the Serie B.

Albania, Kategoria Superiore, Teuta – Partizani 1:1
Stênio Júnior* opened on Partizani’s bench and was introduced in the 73rd minute.

Australia, A-League, Adelaide United – Melbourne Victory 1:0
James Delianov was Adelaide’s starting goalkeeper and kept a clean sheet in the narrow win against Melbourne Vivtory.

Ben Kantarovski missed Newcastle’s game due to an injury.

Australia, A-League, Western United – Perth Glory 5:4
Big game for 20-year-old Dylan Pierias who came off the hosts bench in the 59th minute. At that point Western United was 1:2 down, but Dylan netted two goals in the 60th and 64th minute to turn around the result. Later more goals were scored and eventually Pierias’ team grabbed three points from this game.

Erdin Demir missed this game because of an injury.

Hungary, Nemzeti Bajnokság, Budafoki – MTK 2:2
Sebastián Herrera Cardona* didn’t make MTK’s matchday squad.

Italy, Serie B, Lecce – Empoli 2:2
Nedim Bajrami started in attacking midfield and provided the assist for his teams second goal scored in the 47th minute when Nedim found a teammate with a pass.

Italy, Serie B, Ascoli – Chievo 0:0
Daniel Pavlev was an unused substitute for Chievo.

Turkey, Süper Lig, Konyaspor – Antalyaspor 0:0
Erten Ersu spent all minutes on Konyaspor’s bench as he was the reserve goalkeeper.

*Eligible by FIFA rules due to a continuous residence in Macedonia of more than five years.
