Benjamin Demir, member of the U19 national team, was the hero for Hajduk Split II on Sunday after he scored a late game winner.
Benjamin Demir moved to Hajduk Split II this past winter from Gorno Lisiche. However, he has seen little action for the youth side of famed Croatian club Hajduk Split.

Yesterday, he made his best contribution to date when he scored a late game winner to lead his team to a 3:2 win over GOŠK. Demir came off the bench in the 88th minute and scored his goal in stoppage time of the 90th minute. That propelled Hajduk Split to a 3:2 victory.

The goal by Demir came on a nice backheel after a cross from the left hand side. Benjamin was then given a yellow card for removing his jersey in the celebration that followed.
