In the first round of the second half of the season in Croatia, Daniel Georgievski and Šibenik celebrated a 2:0 victory over Inter Zaprešić.
The Croatian season resumed today and Šibenik had a bright start to the second half with a 2:0 home win over Inter Zaprešić. Daniel Georgievski played the entire game for Šibenik and provided the assist on the first goal for his team in the 26th minute. Georgievski, usually a right-back, played further up the field in right midfield and his assist came when Daniel’s cross from the right reached striker Miro Slavica who sent a header to the back of the net.
Georgievski was active throughout the game and was one of the better players for Šibenik. The Croatian club is playing many young players due to finanicial difficulties so Georgievski is one of the older players on Šibenik despite being only 24 years old. Daniel’s teammate Zeni Husmani was out with an injury while fellow Macedonian Goran Todorcev of Inter Zaprešić did not play in today’s game.
