Cup: Vardar – Gorno Lisiche 2:0

Vardar got a 2:0 advantage in the first leg of the 1/8 final of the Macedonian Cup against Gorno Lisiche.

Vardar and Gorno Lisiche have played the first leg of the 1/8 final of the Macedonian Cup, which was originally scheduled for 9th of September, but then postponed on Vardar’s demand as they had several players released due to national team duties. Vardar managed to win 2:0 and got themselves a solid advantage for the second leg scheduled for a week from today. It is interesting that in the last moments of the match, Vardar put in reserve keeper Konstantin Zahov but to play as striker.

Both goals were scored in the first half, Igor Stojaković opened the scoreline in 16th minute, while Filip Petrov set the final score in 33rd minute.
