The biggest surprise happened in Tetovo where cup and league holders Shkendija got defeated by Pobeda in front of its own fans. Cameroonian international Yannick Makota stunned the home team in the 19th minute scoring only his second goal of this season with the previous also being in a cup match.

Shkendija could not find the back of the visiting net and thing got even more complicated just minute into the second half when defender Bejtulai collected his second yellow card. Without top goalscorer Besart Ibraimi who got injured couple of days ago, Shkendija’s front line seemed handicapped.

Belasica is with one leg already in the semis after celebrating away to Sileks in Kratovo with a great result of 2:0. The Kangaroos scored both goals after the break with the second being from the spot. This is a great advantage for the upcoming return leg in Strumica.

The only second league side Korabi was no match for Akademija Pandev but did manage to score a goal on the road. The 3:1 win for the Academy seems good enough, but that conceded goal can boost the morale for the Korabi players in the return leg in Debar.

A local derby took place in Skopje where Makedonija GjP hosted Rabotnichki. The winner was decided with a goal scored shortly after the break by Brazilian international Robson. Tanturovski had a great chance to double the lead but his great shot from distance hit the crossbar. It is a very active result and we will surely witness an exiting return leg at the Philip II Arena.
