Cup semifinal: Vardar almost in final, Struga leads Shkëndija (Video)

The first leg match of the Macedonian Cup semifinal took place today in Skopje and Tetovo. Vardar with a comfortable advantage over Brera, while Struga has a goal advantage over Shkëndija.

Vardar hosted Brera Strumica in the Macedonian capital in a clash between two teams that in the same time are fighting to avoid top flight relegation. The hosts already made a two goal lead in the opening half, adding a third shortly after the break. The visitors from Strumica failed to score, so the return leg probably will be just a formality.

In front of an empty stadium due to 5-match ban Shkëndija welcomed Struga. Despite having the lead after 45 minutes. the visitors completely turned the result around with two second half goals.
