Last season’s finalists Metalurg were eliminated in the first round of the Macedonian Cup.
Metalurg were stopped in the first round of the Macedonian Cup on their away game to Pobeda Junior. The hosts celebrated a 3:2 win against last season’s finalists. This was the only major surprise in the first round. Vardar and Horizont Turnovo destroyed their opponents, Bregalnica barely won over Mladost Carev Dvor. Yesterday, Shkupi eliminated 11 Oktomvri, while earlier today it was revealed that Rabotnik Djumajlija withdrew from the competition and Sileks were automatically placed in the next round. Pelister and Vulkan will close the first round of the Cup with their match tomorrow, while Rabotnichki, Gorno Lisiche and Shkendija were left without opponents during the draw so they will start the competition from the next round.
