With today’s two qualifying games, now all the 32 participants of the new season in the Macedonian Cup are known.
Nearly a month after the draw for the 2014/15 season was made, we have all the 32 teams that will enter the battle for the trophy. Pobeda Junior and Kozhuf Miravci (formerly known as only Miravci) are the last two teams that join the Cup after they eliminated their opponents in today’s matches.
It was very interesting in Prilep where Pobeda Junior (Third League South) beat Mladost Krivogashtani (Fourth League) with 3:2. The game started badly for the hosts as their goalkeeper Srkeski was red carded for playing with hand outside the box in the 19thy minute and from that minute the defender Bogoeski took the gloves and went between the posts. The very next minute Karcheski was fouled in Mladost’s box and Meglenski brought Pobeda Junior the lead from penalty kick. Five minutes before the break Karcheski had another asist when he found Zdraveski who doubled the lead. Only 3 minutes into the second half Mladost Krivogashtani pulled one back through Mocanoski before eventualy Ademoski tied the score in the 60th minute. Ten minutes later Krsteski headed the game winner for Pobeda Junior allowing them to now prepare for the Round of 32 clash with last season’s finalists Metalurg.
The other game was totaly different as Kozhuf Miravci humiliated Pobeda Valandovo with 8:0. The Second League side was too much for the Fourth League participant who failed even to score a consolation goal. In the next round Kozhuf Miravci will face Makedonija Gjorche Petrov, a team that last season was relegated from the First League.
