Leaders Makedonija continued their good performances on the stadium in Gjorce Petrov with the 2:0 win over reigning champions Rabotnicki on the derby of the 13th round from the Macedonian first league.
Macedonian 2nd League – Round 13
The mid-week round in the 2nd League brought small amount of goals in all the matches except the one in Negotino where Belasica won with 5:1. Two matches finished with the unpopular 0:0, three with a minimal 1:0 win for the home teams, while Sloga Jugomagnat with its win away to Nov Milenium is now
Macedonian squad for friendly against Montenegro
Srečko Katanec, the coach of the Macedonian national team named the squad for the friendly match away to Montenegro. Katanec continued in his style and called up only 18 players with only one new name in the squad.
Macedonian internationals performances
Only Ivan Trickovski, Stevica Ristic and Muharem Bajrami scored this weekend. Vanco Trajanov was red carded in Bulgaria, Nuri Mustafi and Nuredin Bakiu got relegated with their teams in Sweden, Kemal Alomerovik assisted, while Velice Sumulikoski and Vlade Lazarevski are taking back their places into the first eleven.
Macedonian 2nd League – Round 12
Catastrophy for Vardar Negotino in Skopje where they were brushed aside by Lokomotiva with an astonishing 10:0. Belasica beat Ohrid in the derby of the round, while Drita drew with Kozuf in Gevgelija and after several rounds they finally gave up the first place where now lies Teteks.
Macedonian 1st League – Round 12
The surprise by Napredok on the match in Skopje against Rabotnicki and the four draws on the five played matches, marked the round 12 of the Macedonian first league. The match that took the attention this round was the scoreless draw between Pobeda and Vardar.
Katanec not leaving Macedonia for Iraklis
Srečko Katanec, the coach of the Macedonian national team, categorically denied the rumors that came this morning from Greece and confirmed that he will not leave Macedonia because of the Greek club Iraklis Saloniki.

Macedonian Cup – 1/4 final draw
The draw for the quarter final of the Macedonian cup was made today. Renova and the title holder Rabotnicki will meet in the most interesting duel of this round, while league leaders Makedonija will probably have the easiest task against second league side Miravci.
Igor Mitreski suspended by Cottbus
After the heavy critics by Igor Mitreski in the media, the board of Energie Cottbus has suspended the Macedonian defender from the first team and will now only be part of the amateur team.
