The Macedonian U21 national team survived another disaster with the 0:3 defeat on the friendly match with the Albanian U21 national team, played in Ohrid today.
Montenegro squad announced
The national team coach of Montenegro, Zoran Filipović, today announced the 19-players squad for the upcoming friendly game against Macedonia in Podgorica. Both biggest Montenegrin stars are on the list, Mirko Vučinić from Roma and Stevan Jovetić from Fiorentina. The only debutante is the 29-years-old defender Miodrag Dudović.

In an interesting and tensed match with not much of effective play, the biggest Macedonian football rivals Pelister and Vardar shared the points with a goalless draw in the round 14 of the Macedonian first football league.
U21 squad for the friendly against Albania
Mirsad Jonuz, the coach of the Macedonian U21 national team, named the squad for the U21 friendly match against Albania U21 that will be played in Ohrid on 19/11/2009.
Macedonia ranked 49th by FIFA
Macedonia dropped three positions and is now ranked on the 49th position on the latest FIFA World rankings after the last month’s defeat away to Iceland.

Leaders Makedonija continued their good performances on the stadium in Gjorce Petrov with the 2:0 win over reigning champions Rabotnicki on the derby of the 13th round from the Macedonian first league.

Macedonian squad for friendly against Montenegro
Srečko Katanec, the coach of the Macedonian national team named the squad for the friendly match away to Montenegro. Katanec continued in his style and called up only 18 players with only one new name in the squad.
Macedonian internationals performances
Only Ivan Trickovski, Stevica Ristic and Muharem Bajrami scored this weekend. Vanco Trajanov was red carded in Bulgaria, Nuri Mustafi and Nuredin Bakiu got relegated with their teams in Sweden, Kemal Alomerovik assisted, while Velice Sumulikoski and Vlade Lazarevski are taking back their places into the first eleven.
