With six scored goals for the current Polish leaders Polonia Warszawa, Filip Ivanovski became the top scorer in the Polish Ekstraklasa. He took the attention of Europe and became favorite player of Polonia's fans.
Macedonian 1st League – Round 8
Round 8 of the Macedonian league will be remembered by the disgraceful incident that happened in Tetovo. Yet again, the notorious tunnel in Tetovo City stadium was scene of an attack from Renova officials just before half time. The match was abandoned when the away team refused to continue with the match.
Macedonian 2nd League – Round 7
Goalsgalore in Tetovo as Teteks crushed Novaci scoring six goals. Sloga Jugomagnat beat Bregalnica Stip in the derby of the 7th round, while Shkendija HB finaly made its first victory this season.
Macedonian squad for match vs Iceland announced
Srečko Katanec, the coach of the Macedonian national team, announced the 19-men squad for the World Cup 2010, Group 9 qualification match away to Iceland.

Macedonian 1st League – Round 7
Makedonija GjP and Vardar played derby of this round where the two leading teams met. Vardar were finally defeated and Makedonija made the season more interesting and joined them on the top.
Mid-week internationals performances
Macedonian internationals had a busy week because the national cups were active in many European countries. Dragan Cadikovski and Ivan Trickovski scored in the Serbian Cup, Nikola Karcev got a red card in the Russian Cup, while Goran Pandev and Ilco Naumoski scored for their teams in the domestic leagues.
Friendly against Montenegro in November
The football federation of Macedonia has arranged a friendly match with Montenegro. The match will be played in the capital of Montenegro, Podgorica on November 19th, 2008.
