Nikolce Noveski has been selected as the best defender in BundesLiga 2 by the world-famous German football magazine Kicker . Goran Stankovski has been awarded the annual ‘top footballer’ award from HKFA.
Toleski voted for best foreigner in the Czech league
Goce Toleski, the macedonian striker who plays for Slavia Praha was voted for best foreign player in the Czech league by the czech sports magazine Gól. He topped the foreigners table with 80 votes, 14 more than the second placed Andrej Kerič, a croatian from Liberec.
Macedonia will host the Women’s U19 EURO 2010
For the first time in the Macedonian football history, Macedonia will organize a final tounament, in this case the Women’s U19 EURO 2010. The UEFA Executive Committee took this decision on their meeting today in Moscow.

According to the Croatian website www.index.hr the Macedonian player Goran Todorcev is involved in a betting scandal in Croatia by predicting the exact score of the match between Varteks and Zadar a day earlier.
FFM with several changes
The Football Federation of Macedonia have brought several new changes to the competition format, in particular in the second and third leagues which would come to life from 2008/09.
