The leading trio in the Macedonian 2nd league won their matches as expected, while Belasica was surprised at home by Alumina in the 31st round.

The 30th round of the second league took place today. Top 4 teams remained there, but Metalurg and Turnovo won, while Miravci and Belasica lost.

Last year's champion Pobeda from Prilep defeated current champion Rabotnicki, while Vardar probably lost all chances for UEFA Cup with the unexpected home defeat by Makedonija GP and with Pelister's win over Milano.

30th round is scheduled for this weekend. The matches between Pobeda – Rabotnicki and Vardar – Makedonija Gj.P. will be played on Saturday, on demand of Rabotnicki and Makedonija – the teams who will meet in the Cup Semifinal.

Turnovo managed to stay undefeated in Susica and did not let Miravci to take over its place for the promotion. In the other derby of this round, Metalurg beat Skopje at Avtokomanda with 2:1 while Belasica confirmed their play-off place with a 2:0 win over Bregalnica Stip.

FK Rabotnicki Kometal with the 2:0 win over Renova in the opening match of the 29th round, won the title of the 2007/08 season in the Macedonian First League on 4 rounds before the end. On the other matches, Pelister won with 1:3 over Vardar in the big derby on Gradski stadium in Skopje.

Rabotnicki will have to wait at least until the next round to celebrate the title, because today surprisingly they slipped away to struggling Bashkimi and suffered their first defeat this season.

The 28th round of the second macedonian football league took place today. Belasica once again played exciting match and won 4-3. In the top-of-the-table clash Turnovo won against Metalurg with 2-1.

Belasica beat Skopje in a goals galore match with 4:3 and took over his place on the table that secures a play-off for promotion. The top three teams maintained their positions with valuable victories especially the one of Turnovo away to Sloga Jugomagnat.
