Defender Sedat Berisha mutually terminated his contract with Bursaspor, putting an end to his brief spell with the club.
Sedat Berisha, a central defender who turns 26 years old next month, initially joined Bursaspor this past June. He moved there from Shkendija. However, after just over two months, his journey with the club is over. Bursaspor and Berisha mutually terminated his contract on Saturday, making the player a free agent.

There is a foreign quota in the Turkish league, and simply there was no room for Berisha. Bursaspor has over 15 foreigners on its roster, but only 11 can be included on a matchday squad of 18 players. Considering the fact that the other foreigners on Bursaspor are much more established, that left Berisha in a tough spot.
Sedat was facing the prospect of little to no playing time, so the two sides agreed to terminate his contract. In the opening three rounds, which Bursaspor has lost to remain without a point, Berisha was never included in the team’s matchday squad.
