Bujchevski spurns Pelister for Metalurg

Striker Antonio Bujchevski has decided to sign with Metalurg as opposed to returning to his hometown club Pelister.

Pelister continues to have problems in signing established players from the domestic league. Pelister got a new sponsor, but so far that has not changed anything when it comes to quality player acquisitions.

This time, Metalurg beat out Pelister for the signature of free agent striker Antonio Bujchevski. Antonio spent the 1st half of the season with Renova, but was looking for a new home this winter.

Metalurg, whose main sponsor is Makstil, offered Bujchevski the best contract which led to the agreement. The signing is surprising in the sense that Metalurg has not been spending any money on transfers lately since their focus has been on promoting players from their very successful youth teams.
