Bregalnica begins to add reinforcements

In order to avoid relegation, Bregalnica started the necessary winter reinforcements by adding four new players so far with a few more expected.

The most notable name among the four new additions is winger Ivan Mitrov who comes back to Bregalnica after he last played for Rabotnichki. This past half-season he recorded only 9 appearances for Rabotnichki, mostly coming off the bench scoring no goals.

Since Bregalnica’s number one keeper Kostadin Zahov left for Shkendija, the Blues had to search for a new solution. And they signed two new keepers. Dushan Pavlov comes from Second League side Teteks and will have to fight for the first team spot with 20-year-old young prospect Davor Taleski of Metalurg.

The last confirmed reinforcement is another winger, Gjorgi Tanushev of Turnovo. A product of Belasica, Tanushev spent five-and-a-half seasons playing in Serbia before coming back in Macedonia last winter. Together with Mitrov he should provide dept on the wings, making Bregalnica’s attack more dangerous.

Bregalnica is also negotiating with midfielder Aleksandar Temelkov of Vardar and veteran striker Riste Naumov, who is a free agent after coming back from Myanmar. The club will also have a new manager who should be revealed later this week.
