The top assistant under Ilcho Gjorgjioski, Blagoja Milevski, will take over as manager of Vardar after Gjorgjioski left to become president of FFM.
Vardar quickly named a new replacement for Ilcho Gjorgjioski as they stayed in-house and appointed Blagoja Milevski as the new manager. Milevski was the top assistant under Gjorgjioski last season and will provide continuity with his familiarity of the players. The manager post became open after Gjorgjioski accepted to become the president of the Football Federation of Macedonia (FFM).
Meanwhile, Vardar’s official website also mentioned that club president Zoran Shishkovski has resigned. However, Shishkovski will remain with Vardar and become a member of the board of directors. A replacement for Shishkovski as Vardar president has not been announced at this time.
