Blagoja Milevski has been unveiled as new U21 national team manager today.
Former Vardar manager Blagoja Milevski has been named the new U21 manager. Milevski, who won the Macedonian league with Vardar in season 2012/13 replaces Boban Babunski and will lead the new generation in the upcoming qualifications tournament.
The new tournament will be for players born after 01.01.1994 and can feature players such as Dejan Iliev, Gjoko Zajkov, Daniel Avramovski, Boban Nikolov, Valmir Nafiu, Taulant Sulejmanov, Dorian Babunski and David Babunski who although has specifically said that he will only focus on calls from the ‘A’ team and will not play for U21, Milevski said he is not giving up on him and will try to get him back in the team as he is a needed player.
Milevski will have his debut on 13th of October when Romanian national team will visit Skopje for a game on the National Arena Philip II of Macedon.
‘We do not have a lot of time before this match so we will go with the majority of the players called up for the last two matches against Israel. We will also focus on players who play abroad and have the right to play for Macedonia’ – said Milevski.
