The girls of Biljanini Izvori for the first time became champions of the Macedonian Women’s First League.
The Ohrid based club, formed just in 2010, won it’s first title as the girls showed great performance throughout the season, scoring unbelievable 91 goals in just 18 games. They secured the title in the second-to-last round when they beat Edinstvo 3:1 in a direct duel for the title. In the last round they just had an easier training against AS Junajted winning with 8:3.
Unlike their neighbouring male’s club Ohrid who got expelled from the Second League for not playing two games (they were deadlast anyway), the girls this summer will play in the UEFA Women’s Champions League.
