Bazhe Ilijoski looking to leave Brașov

After the conclusion of the Romanian season, the Brașov manager Ionuț Badea talked about expectations for the next campaign where he also mentioned that striker Bazhe Ilijoski does not want to return to the club next season.

Bazhe Ilijoski still has a year remaining on his contract but he recently texted Brașov’s manager that he does not want to return to the club next season.  The manager, Ionuț Badea, said the following today when addressing a question about Ilijoski, “Bazhe sent me a message that he does not want to stay with FC Brașov.  He thanked me for the work this past season but said that he wants to play for a team with higher ambitions.  It is a delicate situation but we will see what happens regarding his future.”

According to Romanian newspapers, Ilijoski has drawn interest from clubs such as CFR Cluj, Steaua Bucureşti and Rapid Bucureşti.  Ilijoski, who joined Brașov in the winter transfer window earlier this year, scored six goals in 12 league appearances for the club in the recently concluded season.
