Banja was the winner of this year’s friendly tournament “ISI Cheshinovo” after defeating last year’s champion and also hosts Cheshinovo.

The Ilinden Sports Games were held for the 42nd time in Cheshinovo with the football tournament like in the recent few years being one of the most crowded events.  The final game was played on the national holiday “Ilinden” (2 August) between hosts Cheshinovo and Banja. Both teams were also part of the Group I and even opened the tournament with a goalless draw. This time in the grand final the barely known team of Banja surprised and beat the hosts with 4:2, taking home the trophy. The award for best player of the tournament went to Banja’s Ljube Kocevski.

16 teams participated in this edition that started on 5 July. Besides the finalists, the other teams were the following: Banja, Beli, Chardaklija, Cheshinovo (host & holders), Chiflik, Karaorman, Karbinci, Krater, Krupishte, Kuchichino, Obleshevo, Pishica, Sokolarci, Spanchevo, Tarinci and Zrnovka.
