U21: Serbia – Macedonia 5:1

Macedonia U21 needed 3 points in the match against Serbia U21 but instead suffered a heavy defeat to finish in third place of the group.

After the 5:1 defeat in the first friendly, Macedonia U19 managed to hold Slovakia to a 1:1 draw in the second exhibition.

Last match for the U21 team in the EURO qualifications – a win is needed for Macedonia U21 to make it to Israel for the 2013 U21 championships.

The Macedonian U21 national team won their second to last qualification match against Northern Ireland to keep alive its chances for EURO 2013.

Although slim, the chance still exists for Macedonia U21 to finish in the top two of Group 4 for the 2013 U21 qualifications.

The Macedonian U19 national team lost convincingly in their first friendly match against its Slovak counterparts.

The 4th round of the Second League opened today with the Prilep derby between Pobeda Junior and Korzo.

Chedomir Janevski held his first training in charge of Macedonia’s national team earlier in the day.

Round 5 of the First League is now completed with Teteks remaining as the only team without a point.

Following today’s goalless draw, the selection of South-East Macedonia advanced to the intermediary round of the UEFA Regions Cup.
