Artim Sakiri in Garabagh, Azerbaijan

 The 34-years old macedonian midfielder will continue his career in Azerbaijan. He has signed a contract with 5th placed team from last season Garabagh FC.

Artim Sakiri moves from his current club Besa from Albania to Azerbaijan in Garabagh FC. Under recomendation of our coach that works there Gjoko Hadzievski, Sakiri has signed a new contract and a new club will be added to his CV. So far, in his career he has played for FK Dinamo Livadi, FK Rok, FK Karaorman Struga, FK Vardar Skopje, Halmstads BK, Berliner Tennis Club Borussia 1902 e.V., ND Gorica, NK Korotan Prevalje, Malatya Spor Kulübü, PFK CSKA Sofia, West Bromwich Albion FC, Aalborg BK, FC International Turku, FC Vaduz, FK Skendija 79 Tetovo and his previous club KF Besa Kavajë. Artim Sakiri has 73 appearances for the national team and has scored 15 goals. The goal that made him world-famous was the one he has scored against England in a qualification match for the EURO 2004 directly from a corner-kick. After that, several times the macedonian national team former captain had been invited to charity matches with great football names such as Luis Figo and Zinedine Zidane.

At the same time, with a move to Azerbaijan are linked Gjorgi Hristov and Dragan Nacevski. Both as a Hadzievski wish will most probably sign contracts with the team he works in – FK Baku. Hristov is our national team top-scorer, while Nacevski is a striker that has played for FK Vardar, Madzari Solidarnost, Ergotelis and Kerkyra.
