Antonio Stankov could soon reunite with his twin brother, Aleksandar, at Viborg since he is on trial with the Danish club.

The 23-year-old Antonio Stankov, who can play in defensive midfield or right-back, is currently on trial with Viborg FF, the club of his twin brother Aleksandar.  Antonio is a free agent this summer after his contract expired with MVV Masstricht in the Netherlands.  The Stankov twins have wanted to reunite once again, so Aleksandar lobbied Viborg to give his brother a trial.

Antonio has been on trial for about a week and has played in several friendlies.  Viborg will compete in the Danish second division next season after being relegated at the conclusion of the 2013-14 campaign. 

We reached out to Antonio to ask him how his trial was going, and this is what he said, “My trial is going very well so at the end we’ll see if it’s going to be enough to stay here or not. Viborg is positive about me so we’ll see what happens.”
