Anorthosis considering Janevski

After the sacking of manager Stanimir Stoilov, Anorthosis is looking for a manager and one of the candidates is Cedomir Janevski.

As Cypriot newspapers are reporting, Anorthosis is currently looking for a manager after Stanimir Stoilov was sacked following the 1:0 loss to Omonia.  The management felt that Stoilov lost the team and things got out of control, especially after being eliminated in the Europa League by Rabotnicki.

One of the candidates being thrown around in Cypriot newspapers is Cedomir Janevski who knows football in Cyprus as he was formerly manager of Enosis Neon Paralimni.  Janevski was also considered for the manager post of the Macedonian national team but the Football Federation of Macedonia (FFM) ultimately decided to choose John Toshack.  The 50-year-old Janevski is currently without a team and would be very interested in taking over Anorthosis.

Anorthosis should name their new manager in the next couple of days.  Some other names under consideration include Angelos Anastasiadis and Toza Šapurić.
