Goalkeeper Andreja Efremov was signed by Renova with the hope that he will stabilize that position.
Andreja Efremov was released by Rabotnichki last week after he fell to #3 on the depth chart behind Daniel Bozhinovski and Damjan Shishkovski. Efremov originally joined Rabotnichki in December of 2014 to replace Shishkovski (who then left for Gent in Belgium), but Efremov failed to establish himself at Rabotnichki. His shaky performances saw Daniel Bozhnivski take over the starting duties, while Shishkovski returned from Gent this summer. So, that meant that Andreja would be the #3 keeper, a role that he didn’t want.

Rabotnichki then agreed to terminate their contract with Efremov, making him a free agent. On Monday, Renova announced on its Facebook page that Efremov has been signed for the remainder of this season.
Renova has had no stability at the goalkeeping position. After only four games in this campaign (Renova has played one fewer match), they have tried both Saladin Mustafi and Valon Neziri. However, neither guy was convincing, leading them to turn their attention to Efremov.

Besides Efremov, Renova also signed former Shkendija midfielder Jasir Selmani. Renova has only compiled 1 point in four games, so they will be hoping that Efremov and Selmani can help turn around their fortunes this season.
