During today’s road game against Celje, Agim Ibraimi provided two assists to lead Maribor to a 3:2 victory.

Agim Ibraimi started in left midfield for Maribor in a 4-4-2 formation and played all 90 minutes in the narrow 3:2 victory over Celje.  Ibraimi provided two assists on the first and third goal for Maribor in the 7th and 90th minute, respectively.  First, in the 7th minute, Ibraimi made a nice cross from the right which reached Goran Cvijanović who sent his header to the back of the net.  Then, in the 90th minute, with the game tied at 2:2, Ibraimi once again turned provider by finding his teammate Dalibor Volaš who also scored with a header to give Maribor the three points.

Maribor actually scored two late goals in the 89th and 90th minute to record a come from behind victory.  With the win, Maribor remained in first place of the Slovenian top division with 34 points.
