Aerodrom becomes newest OFS

A new municipality football union (OFS) has been founded in the capital city of Skopje.

The Municipality of Aerodrom, the fourth biggest by population in Macedonia, has decided to part ways with OFS Kisela Voda and founded its own local organization.

The OFS Aerodrom has already been registered within the FFM with president being Svetozar Stankovski, a former defender (Balkan, Vardar, Cementarnica 55) who has 5 caps for the Macedonian national team in the first generation in the early 90s.

With a population of 77,735 citizens, the Municipality of Aerodrom is the biggest of the 10 municipalities that make up the City of Skopje and is ranked 4th in entire Macedonia in the 2021 census, behind Kumanovo, Bitola and Tetovo. Despite being dense populated, Aerodrom doesn’t have many clubs.

The newly formed OFS at the moment has the following clubs:

Euromilk Gorno Lisiche (3.MFL North)
Aerodrom (3.MFL North)
Pobeda Dolno Lisiche (4.MFL Kisela Voda)
Sloboden (4.MFL Kisela Voda)
Novo Lisiche (inactive)
WFC Sloboden (2.WFL)
WFC Aerodrom (newly formed)

On Sunday all clubs belonging to the new OFS Aerodrom got a donation of new balls for playing matches via FFM.

For the upcoming 2025/26 season there won’t be an Aerodrom league in the 4th level as the clubs will continue to participate in the Kisela Voda league. According to the information we’ve gotten, starting from the 2026/27 season there will be a reorganization of the 4th league groups within Skopje with bringing back the unified Skopje league and a second Skopje league (5th level). Last time this system was active was in the season 2000/01 after which OFS Gazi Baba was founded and the second Skopje league was dismantled.
