The 23-year-old Besart Abdurahimi, a new name on the Macedonian national team, scored his 4th goal of the season during the game between Hapoel Tel Aviv and Bnei Sakhnin.  Hapoel Tel Aviv won 3:1 with Abdurahimi scoring the second goal for a 2:0 lead in the 36th minute with a nice chip over the opposing keeper.  Besart would go on to play until the 65th minute when he was substituted by Ramzi Safouri.

Looking at his stats, Abdurahimi has made 20 league appearances out of 35 possible games this season.  There is one more round remaining until the end of the season and Hapoel Tel Aviv finds itself in 4th place.  Of those 20 appearances, Abdurahimi has only played the full 90 minutes just one time, while his other 19 appearances have been either him starting and being substituted, as was the case in the game against Bnei Sakhnin, or coming off the bench to replace someone.

Senior national team manager Boshko Gjurovski included Abdurahimi among the 23 final players that were called up for the friendlies against Cameroon and Qatar later this month.  This was the first time that Besart has been called up by Macedonia.  Abdurahimi was born in Croatia, but has Macedonian origin through his parents.
