The Macedonian U18 national team played two friendlies against Montenegro in Ohrid. In the first match, we suffered a narrow 1:0 loss, while in the second match we got our revenge with an identical win.

This was the first victory for this generation since October 2025 and the victory over Gibraltar, so it gives a spark of hope for the future because it comes after two draws and eight losses in the previous matches. We have to point out that for these matches, a footballer from the Turkish amateur club Feriköy Spor was called up, which in a way undermines the national team, where by default, players who play at the highest level in their category should be called up. We hope that in the future, such ridiculous call-ups to the national team will be avoided in any age category.
