Shkupi will not play its 1.MFL Round 2 match against Sileks due to stadium issues.

Sileks announced that they will record a green table win over Shkupi as their opponent failed to find a stadium that can use VAR.

As it was previously know, Shkupi’s Chair stadium doesn’t fulfill the necessary standards for using the VAR technology. FFM on several occasions asked Shkupi to make the necessary changes in order VAR cameras to be installed, but the club never bothered to do that. They even asked the opening round to be played without VAR, which was denied.

There were speculations that Shkupi tried to rent the Bashkimi stadium in Kumanovo for Sunday’s match, but supposedly was refused by Bashkimi 1947.
